Peace Mass Transit (PMT) has a new ultra modern Depot at Ikorodu, Lagos State. The facility is already fully functional.
The Ikorodu depot brings to 13, the number of PMT operational locations in Lagos State.
The others include Ojuelegba, Jibowu, Oshodi, Ojota, Oyigbo, Ajegunle, Maza-Maza, Sango-Ota, Demorose, Orile-Iganmu, Ajah and Ejigbo.
The Ikorodu Ultra Modern Depot, a typical PMT architectural master piece, is located at 9/11 Shagamu Road, Ikorodu.
All operations, as in the others, are up and running.
Facilities available at the Depot which are world class include the convenience, cosy lounge, cable television for the viewing pleasure of passengers awaiting departure, standard public address system to update passengers on travel programmes, and a generally comfortable ambience.
PMT Executive Director in charge of operations, Ifeanyi Enete, urged travelers within the Ikorodu axis to avail themselves of the new facilities, which he added were purpose- built.
Enete promised that establishment of new PMT operational Depots across the country and upgrading of existing ones would continue, essentially to bring services closer to the people and give customers value for their money.
“Safety is our number one priority but we also care about the comfort of our passengers. They have kept the faith with us for over a quarter of a century and we cannot but be grateful”, he said.
