Police say a teacher has been arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with a student.
Liberal High School administration in southwest Kansas, USA, on Sunday requested that local police investigate the allegations.
The police department said in a news release that the incident involving the 25-year-old female teacher and an 18-year-old student happened Saturday in the 1200 block of West 10th Street.
The teacher has resigned her position, the release said. Her name was not released.
An affidavit was forwarded to the Seward County attorney’s office seeking the charge of unlawful sexual relations.
