TikTok’s prankster Mizzy, also known as Bacari O’Garro, 19, has been convicted of theft after stealing a woman’s iPhone and getting into a scuffle with a cop.
The social media sensation, O’Garro, snatched Ruby Hewitt’s phone in London. When officers approached him on an e-bike, he tried to escape but was stopped by PC James O’Neill’s baton.
The court heard how O’Garro’s fingerprints matched those on the stolen phone. He was found guilty of theft by Magistrate Fros Kyriacou. Hewitt described feeling “stressed, anxious, and scared” after the incident.
Despite his online antics, Mizzy expressed a desire for change, exploring different career paths and even interning as a writer. His efforts to turn over a new leaf sparked mixed reactions online.
