Kristin Cabot, Chief People Officer at tech company Astronomer, has officially resigned from her position in the wake of the Coldplay concert scandal that rocked the company’s leadership
Cabot was captured on the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts on July 16, appearing intimately close with then-CEO Andy Byron.
The footage sparked widespread speculation and backlash, especially after Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin jokingly commented on the couple’s attempt to hide their faces, saying, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
Following the video’s circulation, both Byron and Cabot were placed on administrative leave as Astronomer launched an internal review. Andy Byron stepped down as CEO on July 19, and Cabot’s resignation was confirmed shortly after.
