A Nigerian man, Festus Awolowo Etame, from Isoko in Delta State, has once again made headlines after sending a follow-up marriage proposal to singer Tiwa Savage
The letter, dated October 23, 2025, comes just a week after his first proposal. Festus, who describes himself as a Management Consultant, Author, and Publisher, expressed sincere admiration for the Afrobeats star, insisting his intentions are genuine and not driven by fame or wealth.

In the message, he urged Tiwa to avoid becoming a second or third wife, warning that polygamous marriages can harm personal peace and professional growth. He encouraged her to marry a Christian, monogamous partner who would love her and accept her son as his own.
“I’m not coming to chop and run,” Festus wrote, promising that a committed relationship would bring her love, stability, and fulfillment. He also highlighted the importance of sexual satisfaction in a faithful marriage, saying it fosters contentment and peace of mind.
Sharing from personal experience, Festus explained that he grew up in a polygamous home and witnessed firsthand the conflicts and rivalries that often arise. He also revealed that he was previously married to a Yoruba woman, who passed away in 2019, and expressed hope that Tiwa could fill the void in his life if it aligns with God’s will.
He concluded by emphasizing his values, noting that he does not drink, smoke, or womanize, and called on Tiwa to consider his proposal as a path to love, stability, and lifelong partnership.
