Adekunle in his oral note, urged them to live their lives, and told them, if he can do it, they also CAN.

Fondly referred to as AG, he gave them the heads up during his recent show.

The singer disclosed he was diagnosed with sickle cell at birth. He however expressed gratitude for his ability to manage the illness, allowing him to pursue his career and gracing world stages.

He encouraged those with similar health challenges to remain resilient and determined in pursuing their life goals.

He said, “I want to say you can do it. If I can do it, you can do it too. I grew up with sickle cell. I was born with sickle cell. All my life, I fought with it. But I am thankful I was able to manage it. I’m everywhere, doing shows, I don’t fall sick. I am thankful. So this is reaching out to everybody going through, having to deal with the crisis, you can do it. It should never stop you. Look at me, I am a superstar right now.”

The singer, however, dedicated his performance of the song “5 Star” to sickle cell survivors.
