Drake had wagered $300,000 on Canada winning against Argentina, which would have netted him $2.8 million if successful. However, Argentina won the match 2-0, with goals from Julian Alvarez and Lionel Messi.
After their victory, the official social media account of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) posted a picture of Messi and his teammates celebrating. The caption read:Ā āNot like us, not with us,āĀ which is a reference to Kendrick Lamarās well-known diss track āNot Like Usā that was aimed at Drake.
