Folorunsho Alakija, Nigeria’s wealthiest woman, and her husband of three decades, Modupe Alakija, have reportedly separated, as stated in a report by TheWill.
The mother of four and the businessman purportedly no longer reside together in their marital residence in upscale Ikoyi, Lagos.
Allegedly, the couple has been experiencing frequent disputes, prompting the affluent woman to insist on utmost privacy in her home. Consequently, her husband was reportedly compelled to find accommodation elsewhere.
Reportedly, he resides alone within the same Ikoyi neighborhood.
Sources indicate that the past few years have not been entirely smooth sailing for the couple, allegedly necessitating them to maintain a united front due to their societal status, as per the report.
