Famous journalist, Rufai Oseni ha ssaid he will be surprised if anything good comes out of this Bobrisky’s prison saga.
Oseni said this as controversy surrounding crossdresser Bobrisky’s prison saga continues to draw many lawsuits.
Oseni says he won’r be surprised if the MAIN ISSUE here is ‘ignored’.
He says a colleague of his, another journalist, Fisayo Soyombo, has also exposed ‘prison defaults’, but nothing was allegedly done about it.
He hopes the matter won’t devolve into social media posturing and defamation suits, emphasizing that vested interests often hinder Nigeria’s willingness to tackle the real problems.
In response to the ongoing brouhaha, the House of Representatives has summoned:
– EFCC Chairman Ola Olukayode
– Nigerian Correctional Service Comptroller General Haliru Nababa
– Bobrisky
– VeryDarkMan
– All officers involved in Bobrisky’s prosecution
They are required to appear on September 30th with relevant officers.
