Boston 25βs morning anchorΒ Vanessa WelchΒ is being praised for not missing a beat after something fell into her mouth mid-sentence as she delivered the news.
Welch, undeterred, appears to swallow the surprise snack and power through the nasty moment.
Social media users marveled at Welchβs ability to stay focused during the live broadcast.
βThat is professionalism right there,β one person wrote.
βNah she needs a raise, she didnβt even bat an eye,β another said.
βNot even fazed. Peak professionalism,β another noted.
Lots of people on the video, which has more than 250,000 likes on Instagram, claimed the unidentified object appeared to be a black fly.
But others said it was just an eyelash that fell into her mouth.
βLooks more like she is wearing individual strip lashes (like lashify) and one of them has detached and come off while blinking,β one woman commented.
