Pictured is the corpse of Victor Ekong Okon-Iquo, an indigene of Okobo Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom, who was allegedly knocked down by Obong Nsima Ekere’s convoy while the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate was heading to Urue Offong/Oruko L.G.A yesterday for a campaign rally.
An eyewitness account has it that the young boy was on his way home from school at about 1:00pm when he got hit opposite Ubongabasi Nursery/Primary School, Oti Oro, Okobo L.G.A.
He was said to have died on the spot.
Some members of entourage reportedly deposited Victor’s corpse at the mortuary.
Investigation into the ugly incident is still ongoing.
