President Buhari, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress was accredited just after 8am and voted at 8:07am.
He and his wife, Aisha, have voted in the Presidential and National Assembly elections in Daura.
After casting his ballot, president Muhammadu Buhari, who was optimistic of victory, reportedly said:
“I will be the winner and I will congratulate myself”
