A Channels TV reporter, Precious Owolabi, who was hit by a stray bullet on Monday in Abuja during a violent clash between the members of Shiite and police has been confirmed dead by the station.
The news was confirmed by SaharaReporters during the News At 10 by the station. . He was rushed to the hospital after a gunshot injury he sustained during the mayhem.
The deceased said to be a corps member serving with Channels Television, died at the hospital he was rushed to, over the gunshot wound he sustained during the violent clash. He was 23 years old at the time of his death.
This is coming after the senior police office in- charge of Operations at the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, DCP Umar, was also confirmed dead during the confrontation.
