She used to date Brooklyn Beckham.
And even though it appears that she’s moved on from the aspiring photographer with a new love interest of her own, Chloe Grace Moretz can’t escape from hearing all about her ex boyfriend’s love life – all because of social media notifications.
The actress, 21, and Brooklyn, 19, ended their on/off relationship earlier this year and in April he was pictured kissing model Lexi Wood, 19 – which Chloe seemingly found out about via Twitter.
Chloe said: ‘Break-ups are hard across the board, but when every verified account on Twitter posts something about me I get tagged. And every major publication is verified.
‘So anytime they post something about a certain relationship it pops up on my phone, which is how I find out about 90% of things.’
When asked if she had anything to say about Brooklyn, Chloe said: ‘I want nothing to be said…’
But then the actress took the opportunity to take a quick swipe at her ex as she continued: ‘I’m not a big fan of PDAs in general. I personally don’t want to see people posted all over my phone making out.’
Chloe’s also admitted that her relationship with Brooklyn – who is the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham – has taught her to keep her personal life more private.
She told The Sunday Times Style magazine: ‘[I’ve learned] to be secretive. To keep things quiet. It’s been a very big learning curve, and that was hard.
But the Kick-Ass actress did accept that she and Brooklyn sparked interest in their relationship by sharing pictures on their own Instagram accounts.
She admitted: ‘You can’t post that photo unless you want people to talk about it. And if you do, you can’t complain.’
Chloe also revealed that she thinks it’s more difficult for her to date someone who isn’t in the same industry as her because they don’t have the same understanding of the what comes with being in the public eye.
And it appears that Chloe is dating in the industry after she was spotted out with Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien – who once admitted to having a crush on her – on Thursday night, the duo’s second night out together in a week.
The If I Stay beauty wore a red Nascar bomber jacket with black frayed jeans as she was seen exiting Nobu in Malibu.
Dylan, who is also known for his role on Teen Wolf, walked out of the restaurant a little behind Chloe but could be seen in a black t-shirt and khaki pants.
On Tuesday the actors were seen enjoying a night out at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood and were spotted leaving separately but getting in the same car.
After that they went to Avenue in Hollywood were they walked in side-by-side.
Chloe is believed to have been single since her split from David and Victoria Beckham’s 19-year-old son earlier this year. The couple met at Paris Fashion Week in 2014.
They have been an on-off pair since then, however, Brooklyn was recently seen making out with a mystery brunette suggesting that he’s over Chloe.
Dylan was dating longtime girlfriend Britt Robertson but has not been seen out with her since the beginning of the year.
Back in 2011 he confessed to Hollywire that he had a crush on Chloe after seeing her in Kick-Ass.
‘I wanna give a special shout out to Chloe Moretz because she is the most badass little chick that I’ve ever seen,’ he said. ‘What she did in Kick-Ass is amazing and I have a crush on her.’
The New York born star later retracted his statement after realizing Chloe was underage at the time.
As of yet the couple are yet to publicly confirm nor deny their romance.
