Davido has accepted streamer Davrel’s publicly apology over the incident where he was seen sitting on a chair reserved for the Afrobeats star
The drama started during the burial ceremony of Israel DMW’s father when a video showed Davrel occupying the seat while Davido remained standing briefly.
The streamer was also seen resting one of his legs on the chair before someone from Davido’s team asked him to get up. He immediately left the seat, allowing the singer to sit down.
The clip caused many social media users, especially members of Davido’s 30BG fanbase to accuse Davrel of showing disrespect and lacking proper manners.
Following the insults, Davrel knelt and begged both Davido and Nigerians or forgiveness.
“Please forgive me. Please, please, please… Have mercy. I swear I am sorry. Please have mercy. I am begging you. Yes, I am a fool. Have mercy. I am sorry. I will not be a fool again. Yes, I am an idiot. Please, I will not be an idiot again. I swear I am sorry,” he said.
Davido has now accepted the apology. Reacting in the comment section, the singer wrote, “Good job son .. move better n be smarter the world is watching u now love u 
.”
