Two weeks after Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested, his lawyer is preparing a third attempt to get him out of prison.
Court records show that on Monday, Combs’ lawyer, Alexandra Shapiro, filed a notice to appeal after he was denied bail twice.
Combs was arrested on September 16 at a Manhattan hotel.
The next day, a 14-page document was released, accusing him of organizing elaborate s.e.x shows, drugging, and se.xually assaulting people.
On September 18, he was denied bail again and remains in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
Judge Robyn F Tarnofsky denied his bail, citing concerns about Combs’ possible substance addiction and anger issues.
She said she didn’t trust him to not harm others.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
While in jail, he was placed on suicide watch but has since been taken off it.
A source told ‘People’ that his family visited him in prison.
“He is focused and very strong,” Combs’ lawyer told ‘People‘. “He is concentrating on his defense and preparing for his trial.”
Combs’ next court date is set for October 9.
