Domestics Violence: Family Cries For Justice As Husband Allegedly Beats Pregnant Wife To Death In Anambra
A man, Dozie Nzewi has been accused of beating his pregnant wife Njideka Nzewi to death in Anambra State.

According to a source, Michael Elvis Ezennaya who spoke with TGB via whatsapp messenger says that news appeared as a shock to him, he said he was once a tenant to the accused at Mgbuka old motor parts market, in Onitsha.
From the voice note obtained by TGB, the victim has never known a moment of peace from the first day she got married to Dozie.

It was even alleged that the victim’s family members told her countless times to leave the marriage, but all warnings fell on deaf ears.
A family source who happens to be the elder sister to the deceased narrated how they received a distress from the victim’s husband on Saturday, 7th May 2022, asking them to come to the hospital where the the victim was taken to, only for them to get there and met the lifeless body of their sister, the source also claimed that neither the doctor nor the victim’s husband was able to give a clear explanation of what led to her death, but there is a clear indication that she died from numerous beatings meted to her recently by the husband.
