She compared the current administration to the previous one, highlighting improvements in trade.
Eniola Badmus noted that imports are decreasing while exports are increasing, indicating an expanding economy.
She cited 2024 statistics: imports totaled N24.44 trillion, while exports reached N38.59 trillion, resulting in a trade surplus of over N14 trillion in eight months.
She described this shift as “refreshing” and a move from consumption to production, suggesting a positive economic trend under the current administration.
