EURO2024: Spain beats England 2-1 to win record fourth European Championship title

Despite a strong effort, the England men’s football team was defeated by Spain in the Euro 2024 final, denying them their first major title since 1966.

Spain emerged victorious with a 1-0 score, securing their fourth European Championship title.

The match saw few chances in the first half, with Nico Williams scoring the opening goal in the second half.

England equalized with a strike from Cole Palmer, but Mikel Oyarzabal scored the winning goal in the final minutes.

England had two chances denied off the line after the 90th minute, ultimately finishing as runners-up for the second consecutive Euros.
