Nigerian actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele is set to feature the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service in her upcoming film, “Everybody Loves Jenifa”, as promised.
This collaboration aims to promote fire safety and prevention, aligning with the fire service’s mission.
Funke Akindele had visited the fire service’s office in Alausa in July, expressing her desire to work together. She plans to incorporate fire prevention themes in her film to reduce fire outbreaks in the state.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service welcomed the collaboration, recognizing its potential to educate the public on fire hazards and promote proactive measures.
The film, a spinoff from the Jenifa franchise, is scheduled to premiere in December, as announced by Funke Akindele on Instagram in April.
