Ghanaian Chef, Ebenezer Smith, who recently gained fame for allegedly breaking the World Record for the Longest Cooking Marathon, has been arrested for fraud.
Smith claimed to have cooked for an impressive 802 hours (33 days), but his achievement has been called into question.
The chef presented a plaque, which he alleged was from Guinness World Records, to validate his claim.
However, the authenticity of the plaque has been disputed, and Guinness World Records has not verified his record.
Smith’s arrest follows an investigation into his claims, which were deemed suspicious by authorities.
