A gunmen attack at Tongov district in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State in the early hours of Saturday August 17, left four people dead.
Many others were injured after the gunmen numbering about 10 struck at the burial ceremony of one Tor Amaafu. The state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr Mukaddas Garba said an investigation has been launched to arrest the suspects behind the attack.
Members of the public with relevant information about the incident have also been advised to reach out to the police.
