Hello Everyone, my name is Gerald Lotanna Umendu. I am from Umuchu town, in Aguata Local Government Area, in Anambra state.
My parents told me I was born on 23rd November, some three decades ago (and I have no reason to doubt them. Besides, they are among the most honest people I ever know}. I don’t really know my height in terms of meters and feet, but people generally consider me a tall person. You judge when you meet me in person.
My Zodiac sign says am Sagittarius (another reason I believe my parents because I have all the attributes of a Sagittarius).
Back to me anyways, I am a graduate of Computer Engineering from Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra state. I am from a large nuclear family. I have eight (8) siblings, Five(5) brothers and three(3) sisters. Many of them are married but, am still single… though am searching for my Miss Right.
I was inspired to go into blogging by a number of factors. One of them being a Nigerian blogger … Linda Ikeji… She is a dynamite … Simply explosive… I wish to be like her when I grow up.
One other factor is my flair for writing. I have written a handful of books which have unfortunately not seen publication (you know why? Publishing is capital intensive), but I hope that one day, one or more of my books will be published in the future.
In the society where I come from and most African society people seldom have a sound reading culture, especially when it comes to books and newspapers, but the recent trend in technology has seen people improve their reading culture by the use of their phones, tablets etc. So am here to contribute my two pence to the world of information technology.
