It was reported in the news yesterday on the demise of reggae star, Ras Kimono’s wife,Efemena Okedi.
According to reports, Efe died in the early hours of yesterday at her home in Magodo, Lagos state.
According to LIB, a family member of the deceased opened up on what led to the death of Ras Kimono’s wife, Efemena.
”Efe went for an event on Saturday September 22nd and returned home complaining of chest pain. The pain lingered till the next morning. She slumped and died in the house before she could be rushed to the hospital” the family member said
Efe had just returned three weeks ago from the funeral of her husband, Ras Kimono, who died in June.
Reggae icon, Ras Kimono was report to have passed away on the 10th of June.
Kimono before his death celebrated his 60th birthday with friends and family and was supposed to travel to the United States before his demise.
The Nigerian veteran singer who was scheduled to travel to United States a night before his death, reportedly complained of not feeling too well. However after he was rushed to a hospital in Ikeja, then later taken to Lagoon Hospital, he eventually gave up the ghost.
