I am not a Nollywood actor – Yomi Fash-Lanso tells Nigerians

The 55-year-old thespian playfully discouraged Nigerians from labeling him a legend and stated that he is still on the ascent rather than at the pinnacle of his career.

Yomi acknowledged the esteemed status of some senior actors such as Jide Kosoko, Antar Laniyan, Oga Bello, Baba Wande and RMD.

He affirmed that the aforementioned actors, whose careers extends to decades and have earned multiple awards, are all deserving of the term “Nollywood legends”.

“I’m not a Nollywood actor, I’m a Nigerian actor, not a celebrity, I’m not a legend, I’m just coming up. I’m also an entrepreneur, I sell wristwatches, men clothings and all. I dabbled into a lot of things before coming into the film industry per say,” he said.
