Darasimi, the estranged wife of comedian Ganiu Morufu, aka Ijoba Lande, has spoken out against allegations of infidelity leveled against her, saying she didn’t have s3x with Baba Tee
Addressing the claims during an interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTokers on Sunday, Dara explained that she only sat on Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, aka Baba Tee’s, lap during a “Truth or Dare” game initiated by her friend, Marygold.
Her husband, in a viral interview, had accused her of being involved with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry before their separation. Among those he named was Baba Tee, whom he mentioned in both an Instagram post and the interview.
However, Dara denied cheating, insisting that infidelity was not the reason their marriage ended.
Detailing the events, she said, “The first time I met Baba Tee was in July last year when Marygold asked me to accompany her to his house because she wanted to invite him to her movie launch. When we arrived, Baba Tee didn’t know I was Lande’s wife. We greeted each other, and Marygold said she wanted to drink alcohol.
“There was no alcohol in the house, so Marygold and Baba Tee’s driver went to buy some while I stayed in the living room. Baba Tee and I didn’t speak until they returned. When Marygold came back, she suggested we play ‘Truth or Dare.’ I was hesitant, but she encouraged me. Before we started, I told Baba Tee that I was Lande’s wife.
“As the game went on, Marygold stripped naked and gave Baba Tee a BJ. By then, I had already taken 10 shots of alcohol, while they were smoking ‘Igbo.’ Marygold then dared Baba Tee to give me a doggy style, so he went to get a condom.
“When he returned, I told him I wouldn’t allow doggy, but I would sit on him. We then told Marygold to turn to the wall so she wouldn’t watch us. I only sat on his lap; we didn’t do anything.”
Dara maintained that Lande knew she didn’t sleep around and challenged him to provide evidence of infidelity.
“I won’t disclose the reason we broke up for now due to personal reasons, but it wasn’t about infidelity,” she added.
Meanwhile, Baba Tee has admitted to having a brief sexual encounter with Dara, claiming it was a mistake fueled by alcohol.
The 45-year-old actor also took to Facebook on Monday to apologize to Lande.
“I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother Lande. Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge… Hmmm. I fear women,” he wrote.
