Twelve years after starring together in “Jaiye Paso” , actress Jaiyeola Kuti has paid an emotional tribute to her late friend and colleague Henrietta Kosoko during the premiere of the movie’s 10th wedding anniversary edition.
Speaking emotionally at the event, Jaiyeola Kuti reflected on the bond she once shared with the late actress, revealing that although life took its course differently, their friendship remained unforgettable.
“l made this movie Jaiye Paso 12 yrs ago with Henrietta Kosoko, she was my friend then
But as God will have it, as much as we love ourselves God knows best.Today she might not be with us but l said l have to feel her presence and l want her family to be here with me.”
To make the moment more meaningful, the actress invited members of the Kosoko family to honor Henrietta’s memory at the occasion.
“So l called Actor Jide Kosoko, Shola Kosoko, Bidemi KOSOKO and Temilade Kosoko to come and join me because if my friend Henrietta was still alive she would have feature in this 10yrs wedding Anniversary of Jaiye and Paso we are premiering today.”
She concluded her tribute with prayers for the late actress.
“May Henrietta soil continue to rest in perfect peace…from Actress Jaiyeola Kuti.”
