Jake Paul has been called out by fans for faking Mike Tyson’s iconic tiger picture in the lead-up to their fight
The Problem Child faces Tyson on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas live on Netflix.
It is presently unclear whether the fight will be a professional bout or an exhibition contest.
But regardless the crossover clash has not been received well by boxing fans.
Supporters have expressed their concerns about Tyson’s health as he prepares to step into the ring with a man 31 years his junior.
By the time they duke it out at the home of the Dallas Cowboys Tyson will be 58 years old while Paul is in his athletic prime at 27.
Paul is aware of the backlash the fight is receiving and has spent the majority of the build-up reminding punters of who Tyson is – or more appropriately, was.
“He’s the greatest heavyweight of all time…the most vicious KO artist ever,” he wrote on X.
“But I’m younger, I’m faster and I’m going to be working my ass off to get stronger.
“A member of my team sent me this video that Mike’s coach put up two weeks ago and asked me if I’m sure that I want to do this…yes, yes I do. Heavyweight.”
