Information reaching our newsdesk has it that Army Barracks, Niger close to Zuma Rock is under attack.
According to Omoyele Sowore, the attack is still ongoing.
TGB could not ascertain if people died in the attack but video obtained by our reporters showed motorists scampering for safety along the Kaduna-Abuja road.
The attack is coming few days after terrorists killed about six members of the Presidential Guard Brigade in Bwari area of the FCT.
Just last week, the terrorists who kidnapped to Abuja-Kaduna train passengers had threatened to abducted President Muhammadu Buhari and Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
El-Rufai said he had since inform Mr. President that bandits were planning to kidnap them.
