The Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended former Senator Dino Melaye from the party due to alleged anti-party activities and misconduct.
According to Daily Post, the suspension was made by the Ward executive committee in Ayetoro Gbede, Ward 1, after Melaye failed to respond to a summons.
The committee cited Melaye’s behavior as embarrassing and detrimental to the party, leading to an immediate suspension in accordance with Article 59 (1) of the PDP constitution.
The decision was signed by Ward Chairman Abayomi Osamika and Secretary Ward Yodson Dayo.
