A two-year-old boy identified as Zino ,who was allegedly being maltreated and starved by his father and step mum has been rescued in Delta State
The child’s plight was brought to social media by a Facebook User, Kwin Oge. She revealed the boy was dropped at his father’s place, by his mother.
She further stated that the victim’s father and mother had been maltreating the boy even refusing neighbors from feeding him. “They lock him up in dark room and beat him up when he receives help from neighbours. Neighbours now are afraid to help so they don’t end up killing him.Please come to the aid of this child. Please help repost till he gets an helper,” she added.
However, in an updated post, Kwin revealed that the father has been arrested and would be charged to family court while the victim has been hospitalized.
