A LASPOTECH student identified as KingEzekiel Joseph Mayowa commits suicide with sniper after his girlfriend of 9 years broke up with him.
Mayowa on Thursday night went live on his Facebook page, KingEzekiel Joseph Mayowa, were he was seen in his room crying while holding a bottle of sniper.
According to what he said during the live video, he βlost his girlfriendβ when she went for NYSC. He says since his girlfriend got into the NYSC camp, she changed.
Mayowa claims the lady took advantage of a mistake he made 3 years ago as an excuse to break up with him. He advised the Federal government to scrap NYSC and also advised βmenβ to make money before dating any woman.
He explained that he has tried his best to win her beck, but it looked as though his girlfriend wanted someone who is financially buoyant. He says heβs been dating the said girl for 9 years, 3 months and 9 days.
Mayowa who committed suicide with sniper says he has pleaded repeatedly with his girl, but she refused. In the video, he apologized to his mother for what he was about to do, he mentioned a few other names he claims heβd miss.
Looks like help came too late for him as he was later found dead.
Tributes have been pouring in from friends who knew Mayowa before his death.
Mayowa was a Part time HMT (Hospitality and Management Technology) student of Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu campus, and the President of their department.
