The coroner’s inquest into the d3ath of Mohbad has resumed at the Ikorodu Magistrate Court.
Family members, including Mohbad’s parents, Joseph and Abosede Aloba, attended the proceedings.
The inquest aims to determine the cause of Mohbad’s d3ath, which occurred on September 12, 2023, under mysterious circumstances.
An initial autopsy and toxicology report showed no significant findings, but Mohbad’s family has requested an independent investigation.
According to The Cable, a two-part autopsy is currently underway, with the first phase completed. Key witnesses, including Naira Marley and Sam Larry, were absent from court despite being summoned.
The police have named Feyisola Ogedengbe, an auxiliary nurse, as the prime suspect in Mohbad’s death.
The coroner magistrate has directed the suspects to appear in court at the next adjourned date.
