Joseph Aloba, the father of late Mohbad, has expressed outrage at individuals seeking to profit from the first anniversary of his son’s d3ath.
Following a court hearing on September 11, 2024, Joseph Aloba spoke to reporters, criticizing those who aim to commercialize Mohbad’s memory.
He shared his ongoing grief, revealing that he still becomes emotional when listening to his son’s music. Aloba emphasized that this period should focus on remembrance and justice, rather than exploitation.
He warned that those attempting to capitalize on Mohbad’s d3ath anniversary would face significant consequences, stating that they and their families would suffer.
Aloba reiterated the importance of seeking justice for his son’s untimely passing, which occurred one year ago.
“I talked about Mohbad’s first death anniversary and how it’s in two categories. Some people want to use the d3ath of a 26-year-old to make money. When I pass and his song is playing, I shed tears.
“So if somebody has decided that his death anniversary is an opportunity for them to make money, they and their family will suffer from leprosy. This is the time to remember that it has been one year, and we still haven’t gotten justice,” he stated.
