Although Kamala Harris didn’t win the presidential race, Cardi B is making it clear that her admiration and support for the Vice President remain strong.
On Wednesday, Cardi shared a heartfelt message to Harris on Instagram, applauding her strength and resilience throughout the campaign.
“To Vice President Kamala, no matter what anyone has said to bring you down or belittle your run for the presidency, they can never deny that you ran your race with honesty and integrity!” Cardi wrote.
She went on to praise Harris’s strength, adding, “This may not mean much, but I am so proud of you!”
Cardi also shared how much Harris’s campaign inspired her and other women of color: “You have shown me, my daughters, and women across the country that anything is possible.”
She concluded her post by thanking Harris for embodying empowerment and representing the American dream: “Thank you for being an example, thank you for being empowered, thank you for being a real example of what the American dream should be!”
