The exchange began when a page claimed that Nicki Minaj’s song “Roman In Gag City” would be included on the deluxe version of Pink Friday 2.
Nicki Minaj quickly debunked the rumor, using the pidgin term “ABEG” to express her frustration: “I must be the only person you can make money off mentioning. Go 1 day. Abeg. GO ONE FUCKING DAY WITHOUT FKNG LYING ABEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
A Nigerian Twitter user expressed surprise, asking, “Who Dey teach Nicki minaj pidgin language?”
