
A Nigerian Genius, David Gbodi Odaibo has died one week after winning a $125m US contract.
His brother, Stephen Odaibo, announced the unfortunate incident on social media.
According to Stephen, his brother “had a PhD in Computer Engineering and was a Kaggle Grandmaster, the highest attainable skill level in practical Machine Learning. “

Odaibo had written an algorithm for automatically detecting threats at airports and had won a $125 million contract from the Department of Homeland security about a week before his death.
He reportedly died of a heart attack in his sleep.
