A twenty-five year old Nigerian man was stabbed in Agrigento, a city in Sicily, Italy. According to reports, a fellow Nigerian man aged 28, was arrested by the police authorities for the alleged murder attempt.
It is not clear what triggered the fight between the Nigerian citizens, as the wounded young man was found in the pool of blood.
He was rescued by an ambulance and was taken to the emergency room of the “San Giovanni di Dio” hospital where the doctors treated his side and arm injuries.
Investigation into the matter is underway by the police, it has been learnt.
