NSCDC Threatens To Shut Down Erring Filling Stations, As Scarcity Persists In Oyo

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has warned members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) in Oyo State against selling above the official pump price of N162 per litre.

NSCDC threatened that it would not hesitate to seal any station caught in the dastardly act.
Findings reveal that some marketers are selling between N200 and N250 per litre, especially at night.

This development has resulted in a hundred per cent increase in intra and Inter-state transport fares.
