Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democratic presidential nomination.

In a joint statement, they praised Harris’s “vision, character, and strength” and vowed to support her campaign.
The endorsement comes after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race and Harris secured the majority of Democratic delegates.
The Barrack Obamas’ statement highlighted Harris’s record and experience, saying she has “exactly what it takes to win this election and deliver for the American people.”
Kamala Harris has been campaigning across the US, criticizing “extremist” Republicans and promoting her policies.
Meanwhile, Republican nominee Donald Trump has attacked Harris as a “radical left Marxist” and refused to commit to a debate until she is officially confirmed as the Democratic nominee.
Kamala Harris has also held talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging an end to the Israel-Gaza war and a path to a two-state solution.
