Apostle Peter Tom Udofia, the General Overseer of the Way of Salvation Church of Jesus Christ, in Calabar, is under intense criticism for allegedly marrying an 18-year-old chorister in his church.
The 63-year-old clergyman married Sister Blessing Jeremiah Esu in Ikot Akpang Ikpong, Abak Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. The ceremony took place on October 18, 2021.
One month after the wedding, people began claiming the girl is just 18 and she was a chorister in his church when he married her.
