Peter Obi mourns Cherubim and Seraphim spiritual leader, Abidoye
Peter Obi, the Labor Party Presidential candidate in the last election, has mourned the leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye who died o sunday morning as he prepared for church service.
The late spiritual leader who died at 103, was ready for church, before he told those around him to let him rest a bit, before they head for service, but passed away in his sleep.
Reacting to his death on the X platform, Obi described Prophet Abidoye as an outstanding and a committed servant of God, saying his death has left a huge vacuum.
“I have just received the sad news of the passing on of the Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, at the age of 103.
“His death has left a big vacuum, not just in his denomination, the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, but in the entire Christendom andour nation Nigeria.
“I commiserate with the entire Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, the Christian Association of Nigeria, the government, and the people of Kwara State over his irreplaceable loss. May God who called him home, grant him eternal rest.”
