A petrol tanker was gutted by fire yesterday at Alakija area of Lagos. The petrol tanker which was abandoned along by the driver, was gutted by fire along the Lagos-Badagry Express Road close to Alakija Bus Stop in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos.
According to sources, the fire service were alerted and they arrived moments later. This came after residents of the area lamented over state of the road, which according to them had caused more harm than good to users.
