The Nigerian police force has been accused of murdering an elderly man in Delta state. It was gathered that the deceased was the father of a 15-year-old boy identified as Bright who was butchered by assailants two years ago.
According to a report, in 2017, the Behind Bars Initiave (BBI) got justice for Bright by making sure the “untouchable” men who killed him were all re-arrested after they were released by the Police.
Bright’s father, Mr. Sunday was later arrested and detained over alleged kidnapping.
Today, it was learnt that the man was allegedly killed in police custody.
An appeal has been made to Nigeria Police Force , Delta State Police Command over the issue.
