Police authorities were called in to separate fight between African immigrants in Catania area of Italy.
According to reports, there has been growing tension between Africans of different nationalities for some time now – with some refusing to live or deal with their counterparts in the foreign land.
It was gathered that the clash broke out on Friday afternoon (yesterday) as some Africans fought themselves with weapons such as knives and bottles following a quarrel between them.
The timely arrival and intervention of the police prevented the situation from degenerating into crisis in the region.
The authorities are calling on the Africans to live in peace and co-habit each other without violence.
