Bankole Henrich, a poultry farmer, has expressed his devastation after losing over 5,000 birds and being forced to sack 50 workers following the demolition of his farm by Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) officials.
In a series of posts on his X account, Henrich shared videos showing the destruction of his farm, revealing that he had obtained all necessary documents, including a Certificate of Occupancy, before setting up the farm.
Henrich accused FCDA officials of carrying out the demolition without prior notice or warning, resulting in the loss of his N150 million investment.
He questioned the government’s actions, asking why he was not allowed to farm on his own property despite following all legal processes.
