An interesting Twitter conversation about ‘drug abuse’ on Lagos mainland and Island which was initiated by Nigerian journalist, Jide Taiwo, caught our attention, and we are bringing it all to you.

Jide Taiwo who made the first disclosure, alleged that there is a generation of drug-crazed, criminal-minded young people, growing in Bariga area of Lagos State. His tweet read;

I spent hours in the heart of Bariga today. Brothers and sisters, we have a generation of drug-crazed, criminal-minded young people on our hands. And we’re not doing jackshit about it

 

The tweet led to new disclosure on ‘drug abuse’ by young people in Lagos mainland and Island.
