Real Madrid boss Santiago Solari decided to do a U-turn in a Smart car after spotting some angry fans after last night’s embarrassing 3-0 Copa del Rey defeat to rivals Barcelona.
And although the players didn’t mind driving past the rabble, under-pressure gaffer Solari clearly had other ideas.
Amazing footage caught him driving near to the exit before spotting the crowds lining the street outside.
Solari, incredibly driving a modest Smart car, then pulled off a high-speed U-turn, sending him back into the training ground and presumably to a different entrance.
But Solari is in danger of being axed in the summer after an underwhelming campaign which began in October after Julen Lopetegui’s shock sacking.
Real are nine points behind Barcelona in the table, and two behind Atletico Madrid.
