Nollywood actress Rita Daniels Chukwuji, mother of Regina Daniels, has thrown her hat into the ring to contest for the presidency of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN)
Her manifesto, released on the guild’s Instagram page, promises a leadership that prioritizes member protection, empowerment, and value.
Rita, with nearly two decades of industry experience, will face off against Abubakar Yakubu, the current national secretary, in the December 6 election.
Yakubu has also outlined his vision, focusing on member welfare, better pay, and improved working conditions.
The winner will succeed Emeka Rollas, whose term ends in December 2025.
