The House of Representatives yesterday resolved to invite the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo, over proliferation of fake and counterfeit products in Nigeria.
Also invited were Directors-General of the Standard Organisation of Nigeria and the Consumer Protection Commission.
They are to brief relevant committees of the house on measures taken to end the spread of fake and counterfeit goods in Nigeria.
The resolution was sequel to the adoption of a motion by Chike John Okafor (APC, Imo).
